Open Enrollment for 2010-11 |
Dear Parents,
It is once again time to open enrollment for the next school
year. Enrollment for the 2010-11 school year will begin on MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 1st, for both current and new students. Early enrollment
will be during the months of February and March.
At the time of registering your student(s), you will need
to complete a Registration form and pay the registration fee.
Also if you will be registering your child for our Extended Care
program, you will need to complete the Registration form and
also pay the registration fee at the same time.
Our school committee and I have spent a great deal of time
in thought and prayer in regard to our registration and tuition
fees. Each year the cost of books, materials and staff salaries
keep increasing. The only income we have is the monthly tuition
payments and our fund raisers. After much prayer and thought, we have decided not to raise the Registration, Tuition and Extended Care prices for the 2010-11 school year.
I want to encourage each of you to register your child(ren)
as quickly as possible. Since our tuition fees will be far less than most of the area Christian schools, we hope to be enrolling new students. Therefore, it is very important to enroll our current children as soon as possible. We do not want to lose any of our boys and girls!
The registration fee is a once-a-year fee. The tuition payments
are to be paid in 10 monthly payments, July 1st, 2010, through
April 1st, 2011. There will be no payment in May, 2011. Again,
please remember, there is a discount in Registration fees if
you enroll your child by March 31st. Again, for this next school year, there is also a 10% discount if the total tuition amount is paid by April 1, 2010. Please
remember that tuition payments are due on July 1st and August
1st.
We know that our best advertisement is by word of mouth. Parents
that help promote our school are a blessing and great help. Once
again, this year, if you recommend our school to prospective
families and they register and bring their child(ren) to our
school for 2010-11, we will credit your account $100.00. This
is a "thank you" and to let you know that we appreciate
your support! Again, thank you!
Attached you will find the Registration and Tuition fees for
the 2010-11 school year. Also attached are the Extended Care
fees.
"Thank you" for entrusting us with your child(ren).
I pray that we will continue to have the opportunity to love,
nurture and educate your child in the years to come. May God
continue His blessings upon our school and each of our school
families!
In Christ's Service,
Mrs. Judy Pugh

at the large parking lot at 7:50 a.m. each morning. Our school
Safety Patrols will begin placing the large orange cones in the

leave your child until the Safety Patrols are standing by the

Drop-Off Procedures
PK3-K5: Please walk your child to their classroom each morning.
Do not allow them to walk to the classroom alone. An older sibling
may walk the child to the classroom.
Grades 1-2: Students may walk to their classroom. There will

their classroom (in that building).

will place their book bags outside the classroom doors and then
walk the courtyard with their friends. Teachers will be on duty
from 7:50 a.m. until 8:10 a.m.

parking lot. All gates will be closed and locked. Students must
be dropped off in the large parking lot only. PLEASE DO NOT
PARK IN THE SMALL PARKING LOT.
Pick-Up Afternoons
Pre-School: Pick-up will be 12:00 each day (unless your student
is in Extended Care). Your child's teacher and assistant will
walk the students to the front of Building #300 (school office)
at 11:50 a.m. each day.

parking lot at 2:15 p.m. each day. You will drive through the
parking lot to pick up your student. Your student will be walked
to your car by a Safety Patrol.
Grades 1-5: Your student will be walked to the large parking
lot by their teacher(s) at 2:30 p.m. They will be in line according
to their grade. You will drive through the parking lot and a
Safety Patrol will help your student into the car.
Grades 6-8: At 2:30 p.m., your student will be dismissed from
their classroom to go to their locker. They will then walk to
the large parking lot and be picked up there. A teacher will
be on duty with your student.
***ALL students must be picked up and off campus each day
by 2:45 p.m. Any student not picked up on time will go to our
Extended Care program since we do not have staff to monitor late
pick-ups. There will be a charge.
Authorized Pick-Up Names
On the "yellow" Questionnaire form, there is an
area for Emergency Contact Names. This is also for all authorized
family and friends that are allowed to pick up your child from
school. If you need more space, please list the names on the
back of the yellow sheet. WE CANNOT TAKE PHONE CALLS FOR PICK-UPS.
However, you can fax us that information as needed. This is for
your student's safety. Any changes to this list (additions or
deletions) must be made in writing and given to the school office.
Teacher Conferences
Please call the school office to make arrangements for a teacher
conference. Please do not go to the classroom before or after
school to discuss your student. The Student Assignment Notebook
is a great communication tool to be used by both the teacher
and parent.
Campus Visitors
All parents and visitors must check in through the office
between 8:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. You will be given a Visitors
Badge before going onto the campus. This is for the safety of
our students.
General Information
The front main gate will be locked each day at 8:15 a.m. and
remain locked until 2:15 p.m. each day. All visitors must come
through the main office front doors between these hours. All
visitors will sign in, receive a Visitors Badge and then return
through the office to sign out and return the badge.
Thank you for entrusting your child(ren) to us! Please
keep us in your prayers as we strive to teach, nurture and love
your child throughout this school year. Your child is very important
to us and we want to make this the best possible school year
for them! If we can be of any assistance, please contact the
school office. We will be glad to help in any way we possibly
can. I am excited to see what God has in His plan for our school
this year!
